Food Pantry

The food pantry serves residents of Peabody, Salem, and Lynnfield. Each time you visit the food pantry at Haven from Hunger, you must show: 1) a photo ID, and 2) a piece of mail that is addressed to you at your current address and that has been postmarked within the past 30 days.

Food Pantry Hours

Monday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Friday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Community Meals

Community Meals at the Haven are open to all.
Doors open at 4 for soup and coffee. Dinner is served at 5.

Dinner Served on:

  • Mondays
  • Tuesdays
  • Thursdays
  • Fridays

On Wednesdays, dinner is served at Calvary Baptist Church, where doors open at 4:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m. Calvary is at 4 Coolidge Road in Peabody.

Donations from individual donors and local businesses make up the lion's share of Haven from Hunger's funding. We also receive grant funding from foundations.

Haven from Hunger is also funded, in part, by the City of Peabody Department of Community Development & Planning, the City of Salem Department of Planning & Community Development, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development.
